Are you looking for a new personal challenge? Do you enjoy working with groups? You are an experienced backpacker or mountaineer, you love winter sports, and would like to help shape the field of experiential education?

Would you like to work as part of a friendly, creative and motivated team? We offer you an exciting and varied field of work in nature, creative planning, organization and program design.

After a thorough introduction, you will lead experiential education programs for different groups independently and as part of our instructor team.

Every year, we offer an OUTWARD BOUND instructor course where we teach you how to design, lead and evaluate your own experiential learning programs. In this course, you will complete educational training and strengthen your soft skills as well as your backcountry hard skills. We teach you how OUTWARD BOUND fosters personal growth among its participants – and along the way, you’ll grow as well!

Completing the OUTWARD BOUND Instructor Course allows you to lead various programs for OUTWARD BOUND Austria and other organizations.

Are you interested in working independently? Do you enjoy taking responsibility and showing initiative? Do you have experience with technical repairs and maintenance, or are you interested in developing your manual skills? 

Your year in Baad includes personal development workshops with instructors. We offer you an intense year full of useful experience to help you grow – both personally and professionally.
