We work hard to offer high-quality programs for the youth of our society. All our staff at OUTWARD BOUND are highly committed, highly qualified, and work together in an atmosphere characterized by tolerance and mutual trust.
During our programs, children, adolescents and young adults experience adventures and unique learning situations in nature, accompanied by a professional team. Around 25 core staff – educators, social workers, business administrators, sports scientists, mountain guides and volunteers – as well as more than 50 instructors are currently employed at OUTWARD BOUND. Our program managers have many years of experience in designing experiential education programs and outdoor trainings for school classes, trainees and similar groups.

Our instructors
... are highly qualified and selected based on the specific requirements for each individual OUTWARD BOUND course.
Our instructors have many years of experience in supervising the learning processes of young people. In addition to training in experiential education, they hold activity-specific qualifications. We require regular recertification and continuous training as well as reviews and coachings within our courses and outdoor trainings.
Our instructors are thus well prepared for their work with different groups and are able to respond appropriately to individual group processes. All instructors passionately support the value-oriented approach to personality and team development according to the philosophy of OUTWARD BOUND.
The emotional and physical safety of the participants and the trust given to the instructors is the basis for an open exchange and in-depth development of the individuals within the group.

Der Mensch, seine persönliche Entwicklung und ein neues verbessertes wertebasiertes gesellschaftliches Miteinander, begleiten mich mein Leben lang und treiben mich an. Dabei ist die Natur, mit der ich mich sehr verbunden fühle, die perfekte Lehrmeisterin. Zwischenzeitlich bin ich im 6. Jahr begeisterte Geschäftsführerin bei Outward Bound und freue mich mit meinen KollegInnen über vielzählige positive Bewegungen und Projekte. Gerade jetzt in Zeiten von zunehmendem Social Distancing und Digitalisierung sehe ich eine noch größere Notwendigkeit für erlebnispädagogische Arbeit und freue mich auf unsere gemeinsamen Erfolge.
