Challenge

When we tackle seemingly impossible challenges and test our limits, we have the chance to rethink our usual habits and patterns of behavior. We can learn new ways to approach challenging situations, discover our own strengths, and reinvent ourselves. And, finally, set new goals for ourselves with increased self-confidence. The only limits are those we impose on ourselves. 

Group independence

When groups grow, they need time and space to negotiate roles and rules, dispute conflicts, and make mistakes. Our instructors create a framework in which the group acts autonomously and increasingly independently, and accompany them in this process.

Reflection and transfer

Regular rounds of feedback and reflection are an integral part of our programs. In a safe setting, we discuss group processes, the cooperation of its members, or even individual behaviors. Giving timely and appropriate feedback is encouraged. All this helps to extend the personal growth and development beyond the Outward Bound course and into the everyday lives of our participants. 

Holistic learning

A variety of cognitive, affective, motor and social learning opportunities challenge and promote the person holistically. Our participants master physical, social, creative and organizational tasks during the course - with their heads, hearts and hands.
